At Blackwell Center for Youth, every child is valued, encouraged, and given opportunities to learn, create, play, and grow in a safe and welcoming environment.
The Blackwell Youth Center for youth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming place where youth can build frienships, develop life skills, discover new interests, and grow into confident young adults. Through recreation, arts and crafts, mentoring, and community programs, we help young people reach their full potentional.

Every contribution plays a crucial role in fostering an environment where young people can develop essential skills and build self-esteem. Donations go directly toward supporting youth programming, including necessary supplies, exciting events, and the ongoing day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring that the facility remains a vibrant and supportive space for all participants.

The Blackwell Center for Youth is housed in a long-standing community building-one that has served generations and now serve a renewed purpose.

Friday Night HangOut
A fun, relaxed Friday night space where kids and teens can hang out, play basketball, and enjoy time with friends in a safe environment.

Teen Group
Every Tuesday 4:30 to 5:30
Location:
Our Teen Group is a safe place where teens can be themselves, build friendships, and feel accepted just as they are. We meet regularly to talk, laugh, play games, and work through real-life challenges together in a supportive environment.
These gatherings give teens a break from pressure and a chance to connect with peers and caring adults who listen. Activities may include group discussions, team building, creative projects, and service opportunities that encourage confidence, leadership, and positive choices.
